About Jessie

I always loved having my photo taken, the dressing up, hair, makeup, posing. In fact my mother still occasionally reminds me of a "photo shoot" my cousin and I had at age 8. A photo shoot so that we could mail our pictures to 'New Kids On The Block'. (Joey & Donnie - if you were curious) It involved old-lady-to-the-floor skirts, too big high heels and...climbing into trees. Yes, I was the tomboy.

So, after I started modeling at 18 I was always in awe of my photographers and their ability to make me look amazing, to capture a moment, to wow me with what seemed like such ease. I loved that they could make me feel so beautiful & confident. (beauty & confidence does wonders for a teenage girl)

Now on the other end of the camera...

I love that I can become friends with the bride and make her laugh and feel comfortable so that I could capture the real and intimate moments of hair and makeup being done, gown being buttoned up, nervous moments of last touches, as well as special moments with her groom. I love the fact that we could meet as strangers and depart the day as friends. And even more so I love that I can make that woman feel beautiful!
And for that sole reason I love shooting boudoir also. I love to make my ladies feel like a GORGEOUS pampered princess for their day with me!

I love all these moments that I am able to freeze in a frame, a moment captured, not just a picture taken. And I cherish every opportunity that I am given to provide that. It gives me much more satisfaction than wasting a roll of 35mm film for a certain boyband **cough, joey, cough** that never even wrote back..
